What We Believe

Home What We Believe

We Are An Evangelical Christian Ministry

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, without error in the original writings.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that by one man, Adam, sin entered the world; that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is absolutely essential.
We believe in the deity and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ; that He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world; that He arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, from there He will return with power and glory.
We believe in the doctrine of justification by faith, realizing it is impossible for anyone, through works, to please God or save themselves.
We believe in life after death; that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved unto everlasting life in Heaven and the resurrection of the lost or unsaved unto eternal punishment.

Our Vision, Mission, and Values

Our vision is a Christian Family for every Filipino Ophans

Kids need and crave loving and secure interaction with family. So, until they are officially placed in a family, we are their family. Taking a long-term approach to loving these children, we combine physical, social, economic and spiritual care together to help them experience every possible level of love and guidance needed until that special day they are adopted into their forever home. That is our ultimate vision.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

James 1:27

For in You the fatherless find compassion.

Hosea 14:3

Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

Psalm 82:3

Our Mission is to love and disciple Filipino orphans

  • Fact: In the Philippines there are almost 2 million orphans.
  • Fact: In the Philippines, poverty, teen pregnancy, lack of education and natural disasters are the largest contributors to the orphan crisis.
  • Fact: We want to help.

…for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me…

Matthew 25:34-36a.a

Motivated by our Christian faith and working through strategic partnerships with churches in the Philippines, we build and operate orphanage facilities. But our mission is not brick and mortar. Our heart is to rescue, shelter, feed, clothe, heal and love Filipino orphans.

Our Core VALUES

We Value Faith

We Value Faith

We desire to do all that we do in love, empowered by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. POF is a Christ-centered evangelical ministry. As a result, doing nothing is not an option – He is the ultimate remedy for all forms of suffering, so we carry that banner to rescue and love Filipino orphans.

We Value Community

We Value Community

We desire to work together with local churches in the Philippines, with a spirit of humility and accountability, impacting communities by helping the Philippines most vulnerable children.

We Value Integrety

We Value Integrety

We desire to be transparent in all our labor and with all resources entrusted to us. We will build trust each and every day by conducting ourselves in a way that enables others to trust our work with confidence.

“May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.” – Psalm 25:21

We Value Compassion

We Value Compassion

We desire to work and act with compassion toward Filipino orphans, the most vulnerable children in the country. Compassion means “to suffer with,” or ‘action with mercy.” At the very heart of all that we do is compassion.
