The POF team was blessed to sit down for a nice chat with Maricres Castro, one of the 2020 Ms. Universe Philippines contestants! It was both inspiring and refreshing to hear about her heart for the orphaned and abandoned children of the Philippines. We sincerely applaud her advocacy for the Philippines’ most vulnerable population.
In the Philippines, there are so few children adopted every year and the foster care system just is not working. So, what is the solution? As the government ponders this, we are searching for a location to build our second orphanage. To us, the solution is to provide shelter, food, clothing, clean water, education, healthcare, AND lots and lots of LOVE!
